Non-Material Damages for GDPR Violations: Quo Vadis Österreichische Post ?
Should non-material damages be awarded on the basis of the GDPR, even if the claimant has suffered a mere discomfort? This question lies at the heart of the Österreichische Post case (C-300/21), for which the ruling is expected to be published on May 4, 2023.
Data protection experts and lawyers involved in pending GDPR-proceedings will discuss the reasoning and consequences of the ECJ’s judgment. The speakers are:
